Here we go - the first blog post of 2025 and I'm going to be writing about Chloe & Ollie's super relaxed and modern wedding day in Manchester over the August bank holiday. I probably say it on every blog post but genuinely, this was one of the highlights from 2024 for me.
The first thing to note - these two reiterated that they just wanted a big get together, that was going to be relaxed, spontaneous and fun. Chloe & Ollie still wanted to get dressed up and have the elegance of a wedding day but they didn't want the posing and all the overly formal things you typically get on a wedding day.
We were at Dukes 92, in the Castlefield area of Manchester city centre and this was the perfect backdrop for Chloe & Ollie's day - they chose it for it's character and the location of it in the city they call home. The suites had amazing views over the canals and viaducts in the city, which gave us plenty of variety for images. I loved watching the trams and trains going over all day long.
These two really put loads of effort into their details - the couples newspaper was a personal favourite - Guests absolutely LOVE them too. Chloe & Ollie also made sure there were Limmoncello shots for their guests, beautiful table decorations, wedding sunglasses, baby Guiness on tap and an elegant champagne tower.
I absolutely loved the relaxed vibe Chloe & Ollie brought to their wedding day - nothing was stressful or forced. They just concentrated on having the best time with their friends and family, which is what it's all about. As always, it's better if the the photos do the talking...
