A little throwback to summer when Courtney & Mike got married and it just so happened to be a wedding day with the biggest party atmosphere ever - you could tell that they'd been waiting to do this for a LONG time!
Hidden River Barn was the venue and WHAT a venue - perfectly rural, perfectly rustic and the perfect place for the party. Courtney & Mike fell in love with the cabins dotted along the river and it's just impossible to resist the main barn itself. You've seen the one all over Insta - the ceremony room of dreams with the huge focal window that looks out onto the woodland below.
From message one, Courtney & Mike reiterated that they just wanted a huge party with all of their friends and family -nothing too posey, nothing too serious, just to keep it fun and relaxed. Perfection for me. As soon as I arrived at preparations, the champagne was flowing and the girls were dancing around the decking and they DID NOT stop all day and night. The lads weren't to be outdone - their energy was unmatched until a certain football game arrived later on that distracted them for a few hours.
I honestly can't express into words how awesome this wedding was and an absolute privilege to capture. Courtney & Mike are a perfect example of leading by example - if you want a party, then bring the party and your guests will follow!
