I cannot tell you how amazing it was to be back in Shropshire for this special day back in April this year! It was Emily & Alastairs day, which felt like it took an absolute age to finally come around and it was one that I had been looking forward to, for a long time!
We were deep into the beautifully rural Shropshire countryside at the incredible Grange Barn, which is the most amazing space for a wedding. The burnt timber effect, alongside the huge glazed windows and elegant lighting make it a photographers dream!
When Emily & Alastair first got in touch with me about their wedding day, they made it clear from the start that they wanted to have the most relaxed but elegant wedding day. I have to say, they really brought the elegance with Emily looking incredible in her modern, strapless dress from My Funny Valentine and Alastair in his contrast suit with bowtie - they looked amazing!
Guests came from all over the world to join them on their special day in Shropshire but there was a noticeably strong Irish contingent and out of experience, that this means one BIG party! Guests spent the afternoon drinking in the early spring sunshine, with the stunning countryside backdrop, keeping it relaxed and natural - just like Emily & Alastair wanted.
A beautiful couple, stunning surroundings, emotional ceremony and one big party afterwards - what more could you want?!
