Where do I even start when attempting to put this wedding day into words? I'll set the scene; a beautiful country estate in the middle of the North Pennines countryside, sandwiched between two reservoirs, on a moody September day. Blackton Grange - is awesome.
BUT I'll let you what is even more awesome - Claudia & Tom and their conscious choice of fashion, attention to detail and laid back nature. This pair just wanted to approach their day that allowed them and their guests to have the BEST time. This was my brief and this is exactly why we stuck to prioritising candid moments over structured images.
The beauty of having a wedding at Blackton Grange is that everything you need is on-site - grooms party and bridal party are both onsite with a hot tub waiting. Although, Tom and the lads used it as an ice bath to start their preparations.
A very moving, personal and intimate ceremony was the perfect start to a day filled with moody skies, laughter and some of the BEST food I've seen/ate at a wedding. There was plenty of time for Claudia & Tom to be with their closest, friends and family and to absorb what they had created.
The whole atmosphere of the day allowed me to be able to focus on candid, natural moments and incorporate the beautiful surroundings.
